Position Overview

MDI Prep Learning is seeking highly skilled and passionate DAT instructors in the following subject areas:

• General Chemistry
• Perceptual Ability
• Organic Chemistry
• Biology
• QR

Our instructors are expected to possess advanced mastery of the subjects they teach and must be able to explain complex scientific concepts without relying heavily on textbooks or scripted materials. We are looking for educators who truly understand the “why” behind the science and can help students apply concepts strategically on the DAT.

Responsibilities

• Teach live online and/or in-person DAT classes
• Break down difficult scientific concepts into easy-to-understand explanations
• Help students improve critical thinking and DAT application skills
• Review questions and testing strategies
• Provide guidance on timing, endurance, and exam confidence
• Support students through accountability and mentorship
• Participate in curriculum planning and instructional meetings

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Chemistry, Perceptual Ability, Organic Chemistry, Biology, or QR
• Ability to teach concepts confidently without dependence on review books
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Passion for helping students succeed
• Healthcare, graduate, or professional school background preferred
