Founded in 2008 by Dr. Anthony Sutton, with the help of Dr. Judianne Kellaway, Dr. Cleverick Johnson and Dr. Kevin Smith, MDI Prep Learning started with just two students and has since guided over 1,500 individuals into medical, dental, and pharmacy schools. Despite experiencing homelessness in high school, Dr. Sutton earned a place at UT Houston Medical School, where he discovered his passion for helping students succeed. Frustrated by how many students struggled—not from a lack of intelligence, but from ineffective teaching methods—MDI Prep was created to bridge that gap. The program specializes in overcoming test anxiety through innovative learning strategies. A cornerstone of its success is the strong alumni network, with former students returning to mentor and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
