Program Duration:

• 1 Year: Comprehensive support and resources are provided throughout the entire application cycle, from test preparation to final admissions decisions.

98% of the students in the program have matriculated on their first attempt.

Matriculation Program Requirements:

• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Must be willing to apply to U.S. medical or dental schools as recommended by the MDI Prep program.
• Must have completed or be within 1 year of completing all medical or dental school pre-requisites.
• Must have at least 10 hours of community service.
• Must have at least 10 hours of shadowing or relevant healthcare experience.
• Strong personal statement reflecting commitment to healthcare and patient care.
• Must provide 2 letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources.
• Active participation in program workshops, mock interviews, and mentorship sessions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills or involvement in extracurricular activities related to healthcare.
• Commitment to professional development, including attending admissions Q&A sessions and networking with program alumni.

These requirements ensure that students are well-prepared and competitive candidates for medical or dental school.

The MDI Prep Matriculation Program is fully available online, providing flexible access for students not located in the Houston, Texas area. Our online platform offers virtual workshops, one-on-one mentorship, test prep, and admissions support, so you can participate from anywhere in the world. For those able to attend in person, we also offer in-person sessions and events at our Houston location, giving you the best of both worlds with the option to engage face-to-face when possible.

The total cost is $3,200, which can be paid through an installment plan. If you have a sponsor, they can make a payment on your behalf as a scholarship through the MDI Prep Foundation. Funds contributed to the foundation on your behalf are not restricted to the matriculation program and can be applied to any educational program with any company.

Yes, you can still join the program, but it will require a pre-entry interview with one of the faculty members to design a plan. Please keep in mind that your matriculation can be longer than usual depending on the plan we set up.
